In the June issue of TA Online Magazine, we shine a spotlight on the diverse spectrum of non-binary identities. This edition explores experiences and stories that challenge traditional gender norms while celebrating individual authenticity. Additionally, we feature a compelling narrative about Diana Lin, the iconic Hong Kong 80’s news anchor from Pearl TV Channel, who shares her journey as a mother supporting her son through his FTM transition.
In this photo series, we draw inspiration from a written interview with Diana Lin, highlighting her journey as a media personality and political journalist. We cast queer individuals from the Hong Kong community to reimagine Diana in both candid and everyday moments, showcasing her as a journalist navigating the balance between career and personal life. The result is a playful yet thought-provoking visual narrative. The interview text and images are printed on newsprint, evoking the aesthetic of tabloid publications that reflect Diana's professional journey.
